Harry Potter movie shock: Star reveals top secret script LEFT in taxi – EXCLUSIVE

Harry Potter favourite Warwick Davis, who played several parts in the franchise, including Filius Flitwick and Griphook the goblin, recalled a near-disaster with a script in an interview with Express.co.uk. On the subject of movie spoilers, the actor insisted hardcore fans would rather be spared in order to experience the film properly when it’s released.

“Many of the fans, if they’re true fans, they don’t want to know what’s happening until they sit down and watch the movie for the first time,” he said.

“On one of the Harry Potter movies once, a script got left in a taxi,” Davis spilled.

“It was a real script and there was a bit of a scramble around to reunite that script with its owner, who will remain anonymous.

“It wasn’t me, I will say,” he added quickly, laughing.

Davis first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone as Professor Flitwick.

He also played one of the Gringotts Bank goblins in the first movie, later going on to appear as Griphook, who became an important part of the plot in the later films.

Davis, who is a seasoned sci-fi and fantasy stalwart, having also appeared in the likes of the Star Wars franchise, admitted he doesn’t like the responsibility of holding scripts now there’s so much pressure around secrecy.

“I don’t actually like having hold of scripts anymore,” he said.

While the actor became a huge part of the Harry Potter universe with his roles in the movies, he has yet to land a part in the Fantastic Beasts spin-offs.

“I’d love a chance to do it, it just hasn’t cropped up,” he said of the Fantastic Beasts films, adding: “Yet, I’d like to say.

“I’d love to be able to dip into that side of the wizarding world. Of course there are many characters in there and it would be nice if I was able to play

“There’s certain crossovers as well,” he noted. “So, characters that I’ve already played could cross over into those stories.

“It’s up to J.K. Rowling, really. I’ll have a word when I next see her,” Davis hinted.

Elsewhere, Davis recently teamed up with Argos to launch the new game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at their Old Street store in London.

Revealing how he had been invited to the shop to work for the day, selling copies of Fallen Order to Star Wars fans, the actor said: “It’s pretty fun and it’s great for me to be able to interact wit the fas and talk about the game and talk about something that we all enjoy: Star Wards. Because, at heart, I’m a Star Wars fan.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available to buy from Friday 15 November from argos.co.uk and all stores.
