We may be days from 31 October, but the stars are already spending their pre-Halloween weekend getting in the mood with some seriously impressive costumes.
Whether sexy or spooky, modern or classic, these celebs are clearly here to make an effort when it comes to costumes and we’re loving it.

Liz Hurley

Last year it was Pulp Fiction’s Mia Wallace, but 2019’s cool girl Tarantino costume is clearly Uma Thurman’s character from Kill Bill.
Anneka Rice did a pretty good job with it on Strictly, but we’re fully obsessed with Liz Hurley’s epic transformation into murderous assassin The Bride.
We assume the Samurai sword wasn’t included, right?
Jessica Biel
The only thing we love more than a celebrity who’s able to laugh at themselves is a celebrity who’s able to laugh at their significant other, and Jessica Biel successfully did both as she transformed into a young version of husband Justin Timberlake.
Harking back to his *Nsync days, Jessica went all out in a shiny shell suit, with tiny tinted sunglasses and *that* noodle hair, while Justin saw the funny side and partnered her as a giant microphone.
Good work guys.
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato showed us that there’s no such thing as going OTT when it comes to Halloween as she became Marie Antoinette with a very intricate costume.
We’re talking heavy wig, colour-coordinated makeup and more lace, ruffles and bows than you can shake a stick at.
‘Halloween round 1… I told y’all I don’t play on Halloween!! It’s my time to shine,’ Demi wrote.
Now, let them eat cake!
Cardi B
Sexy Halloween costumes can get a bad rap, but we bow down to Cardi B as she embraced one of the classics as a sexy nurse.
The mum-of-one took to the stage with husband Offset in New Jersey on Friday where she showed off her impressive rap ability and legend costume chops in a low cut mini-dress, thigh-high boots and long red wig.
Kylie Jenner
Opting to recreate a classic pop culture moment was Kylie Jenner, who with the help of her bestie Stassi transformed into Madonna and Britney Spears circa the 2003 MTV VMAs.
In case you don’t see where this is going, the girls then proceeded to share a quick peck like the popstars did on-stage while performing Like A Virgin and Hollywood.
Paris Hilton
Never one to do anything by halves, we’re obsessed with Paris Hilton’s She-Ra costume from her now iconic Halloween do.
Because if there’s one item of clothing we should all wear more, it’s a big ol’ cape.
Halsey and Evan Peters
Pop star Halsey finally confirmed her romance with American Horror Story star Evan Peters this weekend by partnering up for an amazingly coordinated Sonny and Cher costume.
The couple were all kinds of matching with Halsey in a multi-coloured polka dot asymmetrical dress, while Evan rocked a similar shirt with a white suit jacket and trousers. Oh, and an amazing handlebar moustache.
Confirming your relationship status with a couple’s costume? Honestly iconic.
Ashley Graham
Pregnant model Ashley Graham took inspiration from queen of Halloween Heidi Klum (albeit in a slightly less terrifying way) as she dressed as Jessica Rabbit from the iconic film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
In a bump-hugging latex dress and long red wig, Ashley’s showing that pregnant women can still look sexy as hell and we respect.
Snoop Dogg
Reminding us that Halloween costumes are actually supposed to be scary, we’re fully terrified by the sight of Snoop Dogg smoking in his creepy Joker mask.
He may be wearing his normal baggy clothes and necklace, but with a mask this freaky, we’re still impressed with the rapper’s commitment to a costume.
Holly Willoughby
Dressing as the Joker’s accomplice Harley Quinn, Holly Willoughby gave 2016’s costume-du-jour a Birds of Prey twist as she appeared on Celebrity Juice’s Halloween special.
With a spangly jacket, pink vest top and the iconic pink and blue pigtails, the This Morning presenter was the spitting image of actress Margot Robbie.
