Halle Berry has revealed she and her partner Van Hunt had a ‘commitment ceremony’, with the star raving about their love.

The Catwoman actress, who recently fooled people into thinking they had tied the knot, is completely loved up.

Shes said that the two have already had a ‘commitment ceremony’ led by her son Maceo and we absolutely love their love.

‘My son, Maceo, of his own volition did this little commitment ceremony for us in the back seat of the car. I think he finally sees me happy, and it’s infectious. It was his way of saying, This is good. I like this. This makes me happy,’ she told AARP The Magazine.

The actress added: ‘It was a very real moment for all of us. I teared up, Van was fighting back tears. Even Maceo knew he’d said something poignant. It meant a lot to us.

‘I have two children with two different fathers. Van has a son. As a mom living this modern, blended family, all I care about is that my kids are OK with the decisions I’m making.’

Halle, 55, shares her daughter Nahla with Gabriel Aubry, and her son Maceo with Olivier Martinez.

The couple recently had to clarify that they didn’t get married after posting a cryptic photo on social media.

Getting cheeky with her caption, Halle wrote: ‘well…IT’S OFFICIAL! (sic)’, which, naturally, led to an influx of comments from well-wishers.

Even Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who wrote: ‘Congrats you two!!! Beautiful!!’ fell for the trick, while Ava DuVernay added: ‘Blessings, Queen! Wonderfulll!!!!’

Sadly, what a lot of people didn’t realise was that there was another slide to gaze upon, and that there was a second selfie of the pair on New Year’s Day with the caption: ‘It’s 2022!’

As followers got themselves into all sorts of celebratory tizzes, Halle clarified that they were just messing around…though they appreciated the touching comments.

She added in a new post: ‘We were just having some New Year’s Day fun!

‘People clearly don’t swipe as much as we thought they did. Thank you for the well wishes, tho’, it really touched our hearts.

‘Now it’s OFFICIAL, the internet is no longer undefeated.’

Halle and Van, 51, first announced their relationship on Instagram in September 2020, when the Academy Award-winning actress shared a picture of herself donning a T-shirt with the musician’s name emblazoned across it.
