Halle Berry accuses ex Gabriel Aubry of incestuous sexual relationship in bombshell claims

Halle Berry accused her ex-partner Gabriel Aubry of having an incestuous sexual relationship during their bitter battle over custody of their daughter Nahla.

In court documents dating back to 2011 that were previously sealed, the Hollywood star alleged Gabriel was racist, emotionally abusive and made bombshell claims about their sex life.

She said he’d used racial epithets during their relationship and had refused to acknowledge that Nahla, now 11, was biracial.

“After the first six months of our relationship, our sex life diminished and after one year we had sex less than three times per year,” she said in the unsealed court documents.

“[Gabriel] refused to either recognise or accept responsibility for these issues. Instead, he criticised my body in ways which are very demeaning to women. I finally convinced [him] to go to a joint therapist to address these issues.”

Halle, 53, alleged that her ex admitted to having been in a sexual relationship with a member of his family while he was going between foster homes, and that the emotional damage from his formative years ruined their sex life together.

She also claimed Gabriel had a history of mental health problems and had suffered from depression and social anxiety, but had refused to seek professional help for his problems.

Halle said this refusal made him an unfit primary parent to their daughter.

However, Aubry’s lawyers requested that many of Halle’s claims he struck from the record, insisting her testimony was irrelevant or “misstat[ing] facts” and had “no foundation”.

His legal team also stated Berry’s remarks about her ex’s mental health breached therapist-client privilege.

Halle had originally wanted to uproot Nahla from her US home and move them both to France, so she could live with her then-boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

Gabriel objected, claiming the move would disrupt their joint-custody agreement, and a judge sided with him in November 2012, denying Halle’s request to relocate their daughter.

Two years later, in 2014, a Superior Court ruled Halle would have to pay her ex $16,000 (£12,400) a month in child support, as well as reimburse him $300,000 (£233,000) for his legal costs, as well as an additional retroactive payment of $115,000 (£89,000).

Halle and Gabriel first started dating in 2005, and welcomed Nahla in 2008.

But their relationship turned sour and in 2010 they split, followed by the acrimonious court battle the following year.

Halle has been single since divorcing third husband Olivier in 2016, while Gabriel has been linked to Charlize Theron.
