Today’s GTA 5 update is expected to be big and available to download on PS4, Xbox One and PC very soon.
Rockstar Games hasn’t provided an exact release time for the new Diamon Casino Heist, and they aren’t expected to.
Looking at past launches, we would predict a GTA 5 update release time around 11am GMT, on December 12.
There’s a chance that the new Grand Theft Auto patch could arrive at a completely different time, so it will be worth keeping an eye on social media.
But while we don’t know when precisely the new GTA 5 Online Diamond Casino Heist will be launching, we do have some early news.
As many GTA Online fans will already know, today’s update will make it possible to rob the Diamond Casino Vault.
Rockstar Games has hinted that there will be different ways of doing it, or at least variants to how the different missions play out.
And we also know that gamers will need to fork out for a new front business to complete the heist and claim the big payout.
“In order to plan the biggest Heist ever perpetrated in Los Santos, Heist crew leaders will setup an unexpected new commercial venture as a front, a retro Arcade business property shrouding the nerve centre within where Heist operations are staged and rehearsed,” a message from Rockstar confirms.
“While the business runs above, down below you can practice hacking keypads or cracking vault doors, store equipment and getaway vehicles, and owners of existing businesses can add a Master Control Terminal to handle all current operations.”
Rockstar is effectively creating a new nerve centre for GTA 5 fans to run all their businesses from.
This is great news and something that will help keep everything easy to run, especially when you consider more could be added to the game in 2020.
But some early patch news has also been shared that will prove popular with Twitch Prime subscribers.
According to Rockstar Games, this new property will be available to those with an active subscription and a linked account.
So if you have a Twitch Prime account, you will be able to claim this property for your existing portfolio at no extra charge.
Revealing about the new location, Rockstar Games explains in a new statement: “Twitch Prime members who linked accounts to their Rockstar Games Social Club account by December 8th will get free access to a new Arcade property to serve as the otherwise legitimate front for your prep and planning in The Diamond Casino Heist.
“Pixel Pete’s Arcade – formerly a legendary hole-in-the-wall located in Paleto Bay – will be yours to claim from Maze Bank Foreclosures free of charge.
“Any Twitch Prime members in good standing who do buy this specific property at full price will be given a 100% rebate within 72 hours after purchasing it.”
So even if the game does glitch out on you and you’re forced to buy the Arcade, Rockstar Games promises to refund you the in-game cash.
More stuff is also expected to be added to the game and will be listed in the patch notes set to be shared.
This is expected to happen a few hours after the GTA 5 Online update goes live and the new Diamond Casino Heist is available.
