KSI’s brother, Deji, revealed this week that his dog, Tank, has been ordered to be destroyed after biting an elderly woman outside his house, and the injuries she received have been revealed.
Gruesome photos showing the bite marks, lacerations and bruising inflicted by the German Shepherd on the woman’s thigh and buttock have been released, as the YouTuber vowed to appeal the ruling to have his pet put down.
Deji, whose full name is Oladeji Olatunji, admitted dangerous dog offences after Tank bit the victim, who was visiting her family next door to Deji’s home.
It is the first time the extent of the injuries has been seen by the public, as bite marks and extensive bruising are visible in the photos of the victim.
Deji had revealed that Tank will have to be put down in his latest video, but vowed to fight the decision, telling his viewers: ‘It saddens me to tell you guys that Tank is going to be destroyed. It really does suck.
‘My reasoning for me pleading guilty is we were fighting for so long and we weren’t getting anywhere so I wanted closure and I just wanted Tank back.
‘There is a silver lining, I am going to appeal regarding Tank and this is where I need you guys. I need your help. I really do.
‘Obviously I’m going to be appealing to save Tank’s life and I want you to just help me. I want you to tell your friends, family, anyone you know. I’ve asked my brother for help, I was talking to him, and he said he was willing to help.’
He also said he was sorry for the injuries sustained by the victim, adding: ‘I am very apologetic for the incident that happened regarding Tank. Of course I am. Maybe I was a bit rash at the beginning, obviously I wanted to fight my corner, but at this point I just want Tank back.’
Deji was reportedly fined, while his mother, Olayinka, was ordered to pay the victim compensation.
At the time, a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police told Metro.co.uk in a statement: ‘On 23 July [2018] we were contacted with reports that a dog had attacked two people.
‘Officers attended the scene and the dog was seized while the matter was investigated.
‘Olayinka Olatunji, 52, and Deji Olatunji, 22 were each charged with two counts of owning a dog that was dangerously out of control. One count with injury and one without.
‘They have been released on bail and a court date has not yet been set.’
