Grab the Logitech G29 racing wheel for only £160 this Black Friday

The Black Friday sales season is here! The best deals are often not on Amazon. The prices shown below are the best available now, though you may need to buy quickly as some deals will sell out.

Gaming has come a long way in the past 20 years, and hardcore racing games and racing simulators are a great example of this. The level of realism in modern racers like Forza Motorsport 7, Project CARS 3 and Gran Turismo 7 create an experience that’s as true to life as possible, but let’s be honest, it’s never the same as actually driving – especially when you’re using a controller or keyboard and mouse to play.

The answer is to get a steering wheel and pedal combo, but these often cost £100s in the UK.

Well, not today. As part of the Black Friday extravaganza, you can pick up Logitech’s hugely popular G29 steering wheel and pedal combo for £160 at Amazon right now. That’s a huge saving, with over 50% off the £329.99 RRP when buying it directly from Logitech, although it was available a little cheaper on the Currys eBay store at £215.

Still, it’s a great price on an extremely capable steering wheel and pedal set that’ll elevate your driving sim experience to the next level.

One of the key features of the G29 setup is dual-motor force feedback, allowing you to feel every slip in the dirt and skid on the track. The pedals give you a new level of control over acceleration and braking, and if you want, you can even switch to manual control with paddle gear controls on the wheel itself.

The beauty of the G29, like most steering wheel setups, is its modular nature – you can take things a step further and invest in a traditional H-style gearstick and even a full racing sim rig, complete with bucket racing chair and maybe even a VR headset to complete the experience. It’s entirely up to you how far you take it.

There is a catch though; the G29 is designed for use with PC, PS3 and PS4. It’ll probably be compatible with PS5 given the fact most accessories are, but it won’t work with the Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X – for those platforms, you’ll need the G920. It’s essentially identical but features smarts that play well with Microsoft’s systems, the bad news is that unlike the G29, the G290 isn’t currently on offer.
