Gemma Atkinson, 36, and Gorka Marquez, 30, have had a lot to celebrate over the past couple of months, starting by moving into their beautiful new home with one-year-old daughter Mia in September last year, after months of frustrating delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. Referring to the modern Manchester property as their “dream home”, the pair have shared glimpses of its pristine interior online, but there was one element some fans thought the couple needed to be made aware of. And quickly at that.
After posting a photo on Instagram of him standing in the front doorway balancing two takeaway coffee cups, his followers spotted a decorative statue of a Buddha on the floor of their outdoor porch.
Taking to the comments section, some concerned fans warned the Strictly Come Dancing couple about placing the ornament on the floor.
One alerted him: “Oh don’t put a Buddha on the floor or the ground!! Have a Google and you’ll see why, pop it up on something.
An innocent mistake, Gorka replied: “Oh, will have a look.”

Moving house hasn’t been the only thing on Gorka and Gemma’s minds recently, as he popped the question to his beloved on Valentine’s Day.
The excited radio host took to her social media page to tell fans her boyfriend of three years had got down on one knee, presenting his future wife with a beautiful engagement ring.
The mother-of-one shared a picture of herself placing a kiss on her new husband-to-be, who was beaming for the camera as she flashed her ring.
In view of her 1.6 million followers, she wrote: “Valentine’s forever… Of course I said yes.”
