Gordon Ramsay slates Gino D'Acampo's cooking in hilarious TikTok video

Gordon Ramsay has taken a swipe at Gino D’Acampo for his cooking skills in a hilarious TikTok video.

The Scots TV chef has been known for his ‘rate my plate’ videos on the popular app and when he seen his fellow chef pal making a burger, he couldn’t resist critiquing his work.

The 54-year-old, who has over 18 million followers on TikTok, is very close to Gino after they toured the world together for their hit show, Gordon Gino and Fred.

In Gino’s video, he said: “Ok guys so tonight is burgers time. Let me show you the way I do it. Very simple, toast the bun, you have to do it.

“I put a little bit of English mustard, then I put a bit of mayonnaise and just crispy lettuce on top, that’s it. Then for the burgers, which I make them with half beef and half pork.

Gordon criticised Gino’s burger

“So you got the moisture of the pork and the taste of the beef which is fantastic. Then add the pancetta, this is just crispy smoked pancetta which I fried. Then at the end, I’ve got my caramelised onions with balsamic vinegar. Chow.”

In response, Gordon agreed with toasting the bun, but had something to say about every other aspect of the burger.

“Seriously Gino D’acampo making burgers,” he said.

“Always toast the bun. English mustard? What about chipotle mayonnaise, what about the lettuce.

“You don’t put red lettuce on a burger kid, how many times have I told you?

“You’re not going to cook the burger? Hold on a minute, it’s called a beef burger for a reason, not a pork burger. Pork? Gino, how many times have I told you, leave the cooking to me.”

Gordon then called Gino out for calling bacon pancetta.

“Pancetta, it’s called bacon you doughnut,” he said.

“Come on man, how many times have I shown you how to make a fricking burger and now look at what you’re doing to me.”

“Caramelised onions, balsamic vinegar, oh no. Come on they have better burgers in Iceland aisle four. What are you doing. Hey, seriously?”

Thankfully, Gino didn’t take the comments to hear and was quick to respond to the duet, challenging Gordon to post a video of himself cooking Italian food on the platform, so he could take his “revenge”.

He said: “I can’t wait to see a video of you cooking Italian food and then I will take my revenge!”
