Susanna Reid decided to change outfits just minutes before Good Morning Britain went live on ITV over fears she’d give viewers a bit more than they bargained for.

The 48-year-old presenter, who revealed on the show that she wasn’t a fan of Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood’s organ innuendo, expressed that she was worried her original frock was ‘a little transparent’ so made a quick swap.

Impressed co-host Ben Shephard spilled that Susanna took just 120 seconds to get out of her red leopard print number and into a blue alternative, telling his followers on Twitter: ‘Now that’s what you call a quick change!! Two mins between these pics – no messing around with @susannareid100.’

‘Just before 6am I thought the red dress was a little transparent,’ Susanna replied with a facepalm emoji.

Ben also treated his fanbase to a behind-the-scenes video showing himself, Susanna, Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold getting ready on-set before the cameras began to roll.

While Richard glossed over his notes, a make-up artist applied a bit of powder to Susanna’s face as a hairstylist tended to her locks.

Susanna was seen sporting the original red dress as her glam squad, but in the next clip, she was sat looking pretty in a brand new ensemble.

Now there’s a skill.

Pointing out the change, Ben said: ‘Two minutes ago I’m sure you were in a different outfit.’

‘Could have done a couple of wardrobe changes in the three minutes before airtime,’ Susanna sassed.

Susanna returned to the Good Morning Britain helm on Monday alongside Piers Morgan, following a long summer off our screens.

Their comeback has been nothing short of dramatic, with Piers launching into a seething rant about Meghan Markle being a ‘woke princess’ just yesterday.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
