Goldberg sends message to The Undertaker ahead of WWE Super ShowDown match

Goldberg and The Undertaker will finally face-off at WWE Super Showdown (WWE)

Goldberg says he has been given his ‘dream’ match against The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown on June 7.

The 52-year-old was last inside a WWE ring in April 2017 when he lost the Universal Championship to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 33.

The Undertaker, meanwhile, competed at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last November where he teamed up with Kane but lost to Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

Goldberg and The Undertaker have never had a match together but did briefly come face to face during the Royal Rumble main event in 2017.

But now the two icons, who have been in the wrestling business for a combined total of 57 years, will face each other at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.

And Goldberg has revealed his excitement at finally being able to take on The Undertaker.

‘Many contributing factors making it an extremely difficult decision for me to accept this match,’ Goldberg posted on Instagram.

‘A match against Undertaker would’ve been a dream 10-15 years ago but it never happened.

‘We can’t change the past, but somehow the stars have aligned and though it be a bit later than desired, this matchup is still a dream for me.

‘I have nothing but respect for Taker, he’s a legend, BUT now I do what I do… prep for war one more time.’
