Gogglebox fans were left wincing in pain after being asked to watched The Yorkshire Vet castrate a horse for the latest edition of the hit Channel 4 series.
All of the British households were left hiding behind their hands as The Yorkshire Vet explained how he was going to carry out the procedure.
In toe-curling scenes, Vinnie was sedated before being rolled on his back and having his privates chopped off.
Initially making light of the situation, the Goggleboxers joked they “had never seen a horse’s b***s” before.
In fact, others compared the animal’s testicles to “two large black puddings”.
Giggling, Pete Sanforhe chuckled to his sister Sophie: “He is washing them like he is washing his car.”
Meanwhile, Giles and Mary shocked fans by debating if convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein would have opted to suffer a similar fate for a shorter sentence.
Speaking matter of factly, Mary said: “They don’t seem offer castration as an option I presume.”
Over on Twitter, viewers were left feeling a little uncomfortable over the procedure on their screens, as they offered their sympathies to the horse.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “I’m crossing my legs & I don’t even have balls.”
A second agreed:“#Gogglebox cheered me up – except the horse. Never thought THAT was ever necessary.”
While a third chimed: “I was covering my dog’s eyes as that horse got his n**s cut off #Gogglebox.”
Meanwhile, a fourth continued: “This is painful to watch. Poor Vinnie.”
