Gogglebox fans have called for a ban after the latest episode that saw cast members react to a political TV show.

Fans of the popular TV show have called the show to ban political segments, with many taking to social media to say: “I wish they wouldn’t put politics on here.”

The show saw Pete say: “Inflation’s gone through the [bleep] roof, so it costs more to live, but obviously Boris doesn’t see it like that with his £500 a role wallpaper.”

But fans weren’t impressed by the political discourse that overwhelmed the episode.

Fans flooded social media, slamming the TV show for its choice to air political segments.
