GMB’s Ben Shephard exposes weather girl Laura Tobin’s wild night out antics

Good Morning Britain star Ben Shephard has opened up about some of the surprising antics that go on behind the scenes at ITV’s breakfast show when the cameras stop rolling.

The hunky TV presenter, 45, revealed that some of his GMB co-stars go straight on-air after boozy works nights out during an exclusive chat at the Mirror Pride Of Sport Awards last week.

Ben’s pal Kate Garraway finished in fourth place in the most recent series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! after impressing fans by sporting a red bikini and quizzing her campmates on their lives outside the jungle.

Discussing which GMB co-star he’d like to see take on Bushtucker Trials next year, Ben told Daily Star Online: “I think Richard [Arnold] would be brilliant in the jungle. He’d love it.

“I’m not sure it’s up Susanna’s [Reid] street. Sean [Fletcher] would get stuck in there and Alex [Beresford] would go in head on too.”

“I would love to see Laura [Tobin] in there. There is nothing Laura loves more than a dirty challenge and having to swallow something disgusting, usually it’s on the company drinks nights out.”

The presenter went on to dish the dirt on the Good Morning Britain’s weather girl’s wild antics on staff parties.

He continued: “Laura is usually first to the bar and last home when we’re out on a company drinks night.

Ben admitted that weather girl Laura Tobin enjoys a “dirty challenge”

“Which often means she stubbles in at two in the morning and then goes straight on air.

“She’s the brave one.”

Ben admitted that he didn’t think the famous Australian jungle wouldn’t be able to handle one of his fellow presenters.

“I’m not sure the jungle could handle Piers,” Ben joked.

“I’m sure Piers would cope in there but not sure if the jungle could cope with Piers.”

The TV personality didn’t rule himself out of heading to Oz to star in the popular ITV reality show in the future.

“A month off life. You don’t get that often but I’m not planning on doing it anytime soon.”
