GMB weather girl Laura Tobin says she's 'bombarded by angry letters' from viewers

The Chase‘s celebrity edition had a fresh batch of stars on this afternoon’s show, battling it out to defeat The Beast.

Good Morning Britain‘s Laura Tobin was one of the celebs taking part, giving Chaser Mark Labbett a run for his money.

Before the questions started, however, host Bradley Walsh quizzed Laura about her job as a weather girl on GMB.

Bradley wondered whether the 38-year-old ever received any angry letters from disappointed fans when the weather forecast delivered bad news.

He asked: “Do you ever get messages of complaint, people calling up to complain?”

Nodding her head, Laura admitted it happens “all the time” – despite her sunny nature.

When another weather girl took time off for maternity leave, she decided to snap up the role for a couple of months.

Explaining why she has stayed in the job for so many years, she said: “I turned up to the weather centre and I saw the wardrobe and the hair and makeup…”

Laura proved tough competition for The Beast today, making it through to the third round.
