GMB guests 'leave show early' as fans brand Oscars special 'car crash TV'

Good Morning Britain viewers were not impressed today as the show’s Oscars special suffered a number of major technical issues.

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were left panicking as live links stopped working, microphones weren’t turned off, and the screen even stopped working.

Viewers rushed to social media to slam the show for the “car crash” issues, as they threatened to turn off.

One wrote: “Bit of a car crash this morning. Why go to the oscars anyway. Is that news?”

Another added: “Car crash can find no other words.”

A third chipped in: “I honestly don’t know why people watch GMB? I’ve just flicked it on now an they are sat at the Oscar’s in Hollywood… why ?? Any excuse to go on a trip .. so painful to watch .. time to flick it back to BBC Breakfast to watch some real news.”

Meanwhile, viewers were left confused as Joan Collins, who had been on air since the start of the show, was seen walking off air before the show had finished.

Joan was seen leaving the set 30 minutes before the end of the show, as one fan wrote: “The way they ushered Joan Collins out so quick.”

Another added: “Joan has been sent on her way before she spills the beans.”

Guests Mark Wright and rapper Rapman also left the show before it finished airing, confusing viewers.
