Lea Michele celebrated her 34th birthday and marked the occasion with a glimpse of her newborn son Ever.

The former Glee star welcomed little Ever on August 20, her first with husband Zandy Reich.

Lea shared a snap of her holding Ever while standing in front of her birthday cake, waiting to blow out the candles.

The ultimate birthday present was her newborn having a birthday so close to hers.

The 34-year-old showed her baby boy’s little head, as she carried him in her arms with her back to the camera, captioning the snap: ’34’.

Sources told People the couple were ‘extremely grateful’ to become first-time parents.

A further insider told People that the baby’s middle name – Leo – was likely chosen based on his astrology star sign given he was born mid-August.

Announcing the joyful news of their son’s arrival, a source close to the married couple had recently said: ‘Everyone’s happy and healthy, and they’re extremely grateful. [Ever]’s been an easy baby so far.’

Lea first began dating entrepreneur Zandy in July 2017.

The businessman proposed in April 2018 and Lea announced their engagement on Instagram with a photo of her four-carat diamond ring with the simple caption: ‘Yes’ with an emoji of a ring.

Speaking to People at the time, the couple said: ‘We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family.

‘And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.’
