Glastonbury fans air their frustrations as final ticket resale sells out in 12 minutes

“I may as well go back to bed for the rest of my life.”

Fans have once again taken to social media to air their frustrations having failed to secure Glastonbury 2019 tickets in the festival’s final general admission ticket resale.

Going on sale at 9am, this morning’s (April 28) resale was the last opportunity for fans to get their hands on tickets for this year’s Worthy Farm festival. Made up of returned tickets from punters who managed to bag them in the general sale, there was no knowing how many would get added to the resale.

Selling out in just 12 minutes, See Tickets, Glastonbury’s official ticket partner, kept hopeful ticket-buyers updated during the brief sale, before declaring that all resale tickets for 2019 had sold out at 9:12am.

Glastonbury’s official Twitter account thanked everyone who bought one, writing: “This morning’s resale tickets have now all been sold. Our thanks to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those of you who missed out.”

Many fans were left frustrated, just like they were when coach ticket resale tickets sold out in just 23 minutes earlier in the week. You can see a selection of their responses to this morning’s sale below.

In other Glastonbury news, the line-up for the festival’s Common Stage was revealed earlier this week – with the area set to feature a mix of live performances and DJ sets from the likes of Hot Chip and The Streets’ Mike Skinner.
