FANS are counting down the days until this year’s Glastonbury.
But when is it? And who is in the now confirmed line-up? Here’s ALL you need to know…

When is Glastonbury 2019 on?
The next Glastonbury festival will take place between Thursday, June 26, 2019, and Sunday, June 30, 2019.
There was no Glastonbury festival this year because it is a ‘fallow year’.
This means that organisers are giving the land at Worthy Farm, where the festival is held, time to recover from the excessive stomping of thousands of festival-goers.

Who was rumoured to be in the Glastonbury 2019 line-up?
Here are the bands and solo stars that were tipped to perform:
ABBA
In 2018 70s pop legends ABBA announced that they’d be releasing their first new material in 35 years.
They then said they were planning a ‘virtual’ tour for 2019 using hologram technology – could this stop at Glasto?
The Strokes
Although they had incredible success when they launched to superstar status in the noughties, they have never played at Glastonbury.
But with a new album out in 2019, this could mean the band might want to secure a spot at the coveted Somerset event.
Paul McCartney
On August 6, 2018, it was revealed Sir Paul McCartney was set to headline the music festival.
Bookies made Sir Paul McCartney, favourite to nab one of the top slots. He last played in 2004.
The insider added: “Macca would be an incredible headliner — everyone loves him and he has one of the most famous back catalogues.”

Kendrick Lemar
Kendrick hasn’t appeared at Glastonbury before, but he’s no stranger to headlining festivals.
He recently topped Coachella and is headlining the Reading and Leeds festival this year, so could Glasto be his next big one?
On August 6, 2018, it was revealed the rapper is thought to be in advanced negotiations to top the bill as the music festival looks to become more ‘forward-thinking’.
Elton John
The superstar singer will be heading out on his Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour in 2019 which means he might want to mark the occasion with a stop at Glasto.
Speaking to Heart Radio Elton said: “I don’t think I am a Glastonbury type of act, but having said that I played Bestival and had a great time… so we’ll see.”
The Stone Roses
Although their career spans over three decades, Ian Brown and the boys haven’t played the festival since being replaced by Pulp in 1995.
Could they finally get to play in 2019?

Fleetwood Mac
Glasto festival organiser Michael Eavis has talked about not being able to afford the band.
However, Mick Fleetwood hasn’t ruled it out telling the Daily Express last year: “One day we’ll just get on a plane and come over and do it”.
Arctic Monkeys
The band are no strangers to playing at Glastonbury having headlined in 2007 and 2013.
The last time they were there it was to promote their album AM, so they could be heading back to the Pyramid Stage in 2019 to coincide with the release of their next offering Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

Taylor Swift
Although Ed Sheeran said that his good pal Taylor “doesn’t do festivals” she has been proving him wrong recently.
She has had appearances at British Summer Time and the BBC’s The Biggest Weekend, leading to speculation she could end her Reputation tour at Glastonbury next year.
Led Zeppelin
Lead singer Robert Plant has played twice on his own in 1993 and 2014, but the band have never performed at the festival.
The band celebrate 50 years together this year, so could mark this by being booked for Glastonbury.
Oasis
This rumour was always very much doubtful, given the constant bickering between the Gallagher brothers.
However, Noel and Liam could have played separately at the big Somerset event.
The Cure
SkyBet had The Cure at 1/2 to headline the festival, which would mark the fourth time the band have topped the bill.
The band performed at Glastonbury in 1986, 1990 and 1995, although they admit they have mixed feelings about the festival.
When asked by BBC 6 Music if they’d consider returning to the festival, Robert Smith said: “Yeah, maybe. We haven’t had a happy history with Glastonbury over the years.
“Although we’ve headlined three times, we’ve never been on the best of terms. I don’t know if they forgive and forget.”
Kylie Minogue
Kylie was due to headline in 2005, but was forced to pull out after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Speaking to PA over the summer, Kylie said: “When I was supposed to do it, I think I would have been the first solo female to headline in however many years it was, so I was really proud of that at that time.
“Obviously it didn’t happen. So yes, it would be amazing and very emotional to be standing there and doing what I didn’t get to do all those years ago, for sure.”
Bruce Springsteen
The Boss has headlined the Pyramid Stage before in 2009 and The Daily Star have reported he could have again been in Michael Eavis’ sights.
