On GLAMOUR Tries this week, our Partnerships Director Bandi Manzini tried Magnitone’s HighBrow Eyebrow Shaping Pencil. Compact, travel-friendly and discrete, it’s an eyebrow pencil with an added edge: it promises to shape and trim eyebrows with a precision ‘pencil nib’ micro-trimmer.
According to the brand’s site, it’s 100% pain-free unlike tweezers, threading and waxing… and it even has a built in LED guide light to reduce hand shadow and allow you to touch up your eyebrows *without* an abundance of natural light. Sounds life-changing, right? But did it genuinely deliver? Was it as pain-free as promised? And were the results accurate?
“I’ve used the trimmer – I’d say it has done a decent job of getting rid of some stray hairs and tidying up a bit,” said Bandi. “But, there were some finer hairs that it couldn’t quite reach. It’s a nifty little gadget, it’s easy to use, fits in your handbag, hypoallergenic so it’s good for all skin types and it’s great for using between salon visits. You might need a pair of tweezers for those fine hairs that you can’t quite reach.”
