Gigi and Bella's favourite mid-priced accessories brand just launched its (epic!) debut clothing line

Since launching as an accessories label back in 2015, Parisian-based fashion brand Elleme has spent the last six years enjoying the success that comes with becoming an almost-instant cult sensation.

A huge hit amongst fashion editors and influencers alike, the brand’s ‘Dimple’, ‘Dumpling’ and ‘Vague’ bags, in particular, can be seen decorating the Instagram feeds of anyone with even the most remote interest in fashion. Whether you’re got your finger right on the pulse of the industry or merely somewhere nearby, chances are that several of the people you follow will have introduced you to the world of Elleme, whether you realised it at the time or not.

Thanks to the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Beyoncé and Hailey Bieber, this has by no means been a solely-European success story.

While these pieces may be designed in Paris and handmade in Italy, they resonate internationally and have made their way onto the arms – and feet – of some of the world’s most influential models and celebrities.

Delighting those of us besotted with the brand’s chic, elevated, wearable aesthetic – and no doubt infinitely broadening their appeal to an even wider customer – after ten successful seasons as an accessories label Elleme today launched its first ever ready-to-wear collection.

A selection of pieces that are arguably even more exquisite than the cult accessories offering, this is a collection of interesting draw-string silhouettes, sharp shoulder blazers, voluminous sleeves, knitted dresses and, quite frankly, epic outerwear.

Set across a colour palette of earthy tones which are said to have been influenced by the British countryside, there are accents of lemon yellows and punchy oranges which serve to lift and punctuate the collection.

“AW21 was conceived in the middle of the first lockdown”, explained the brand’s Creative Director, Jingjing Fan.

“We had plenty of time on our hands to take a step back and think about what is important in life. With families and individuals choosing to leave their lives in the big city and go to the countryside to explore true nature.”

“This collection has been inspired to create the perfect look for an easy walk in the forest, mountains or simply by your country house. Casual elegance is the essence of our first ready to wear collection.”

All pieces will be available to buy online via elleme.com and range from €400-€1500 (around £350-£1300).
