Get paid £500 to play Nintendo Switch video game workouts – here’s how

One of the UK’s leading sports multivitamin companies is offering four people £500 each to complete video game workouts everyday for a month during lockdown.

The initiative has been launched by Lyvit, in a bid to discover the effectiveness of ‘exergaming’.

Exergaming is active video gaming that requires physical movements to play, and often uses motion tracking technology to assess performance.

Candidates must workout for an hour a day using a variety of Nintendo Switch games – Ring Fit Adventure, Just Dance 2020, Zumba Burn It Up and Arms, while keeping a detailed health and wellbeing diary recording their weight, mood and energy levels.

Lyvit will provide successful applicants with a Nintendo Switch console, plus pay them £500.

The study comes after a recent survey, conducted by Lyvit, revealed that 48 per cent of Brits have taken up some form of virtual exercise since lockdown began at the end of March.

Lyvit is recruiting two males and two females aged between 18 and 65 years-old with a BMI between 25 and 29, with no underlying health conditions such as diabetes, arthritis or heart disease.

For more information and to apply online, visit the Lyvit.co.uk website here.

Closing date for applications is Friday, May 29.
