'Get a life' Ant and Dec fire back at 'creepy stalker' Piers Morgan over his NTA remarks

Ant McPartlin, 45, and Declan Donnelly, 45, have fired back at Piers Morgan, 56, after he continued to criticise them on Twitter over their 20th consecutive National Television Award win. The Geordie presenting duo told the former Good Morning Britain host to “get a life” as Piers had urged his good friend and Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo to “bury” Newcastle United in their match today following Ant and Dec’s triumphant success at the NTAs.

Newcastle United fans Ant and Dec were cheering on their beloved team today against Manchester United as Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford.

“Bury them please @Cristiano,” pleaded Piers in a post to his eight million Twitter followers.

The post came in response to Ant and Dec posting “Anybody know if there’s any football on today? Haven’t heard it mentioned” on their official Twitter account.

Now the presenting duo has hit back at the former GMB host and told him to “leave” them alone.

It comes as Piers hit out at Ant and Dec after they beat him to the Best Presenter award at the NTAs on Thursday.

The former Good Morning Britain host, who opted to skip the event at London’s O2 Arena, also branded the awards ceremony a “snoozefest”, as the same stars tend to win each year.

Ant and Dec’s triumph marked their 20th win of the coveted presenting gong in a row.

Piers fumed in a new interview: “Well, I knew Ant and Dec would win. I don’t even know why they bother to count the votes.”
