Geri Horner wears monochrome Gucci coat to Commonwealth Day Service

Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) arrived at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey today wearing a belted monochrome wool Gucci coat.

The former Spice Girl arrived at the event with daughter Bluebell Madonna, who was also dressed for the official occasion in a floral maxi dress and blush-coloured coat.

Geri’s coat, which costs £2,700 and is still available to purchase online here, featured a 1950s-inspired silhouette, complete with velvet Peter Pan collar and flap pockets, and a detachable ‘GG’ Gucci belt.

She accessorised with an ivory handbag and gloves and nude court shoes, for a look that felt at once fashion-forward and formal.

Also rocking a monochrome ensemble was the Duchess of Wessex, who opted for a white long-sleeved midi dress from British brand Suzannah featuring a black skirt detail.

Sophie Wessex accessorised the dress, which she had first worn during Royal Ascot in 2019, with a navy Jane Taylor hat, heels and clutch.

The Countess of Wessex and her husband joined the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and other members of the royal family at the event, which is set to be the Sussex’s last official event as members of the royal family
