Geri Horner rehearses iconic Spice Girls dance moves hours after breaking silence on ‘hurtful’ Mel B claims

Geri Horner stepped up her preparation for the Spice Girls tour as she rehearsed some of the band’s iconic moves hours after breaking her silence over “hurtful” Mel B claims. 

Horner, a.k.a. Ginger Spice, made sure to stoke up more excitement for the upcoming reunion tour as she shared a video of her practicing Spice Up Your Life dance moves on Monday.

The 46-year-old looked focused as she mirrored a choreographer and replicated the hit single’s dance moves. 

“Hi Si Ja Hold tight ! Had So much fun today, Getting in a little early practice on those moves!” Horner wrote alongside her Instagram video.

Horner also warmed up her vocal chords as she belted out the words to the iconic 1997 song in time with the backing track. 

The practice for the reunion tour comes just hours after Horner finally spoke out on recent claims made by Melanie Brown that the two slept together at the height of the band’s fame. 

Speaking to Piers Morgan on his interview show Life Stories, Brown appeared to smile and nod when the host asked her if she had ever slept with Horner “in that way”.

Brown then joked that Horner would “kill her” for recounting the alleged liaison before backtracking on her claims during an interview on Australian radio, blaming the media for “taking things to a whole new level”.

A week later, Horner finally broke her silence on the reported tryst with a statement branding the claims “hurtful” and “disappointing”.

In a statement to Standard Online, a representative said: “It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.

“Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.

“Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.”
