Geri Horner has encouraged us all to ‘dream big’ as she shared an epic throwback snap of the Spice Girls back at the start of their career.

And honestly, the glow up is real.

Taking to Instagram, Geri shared a vintage picture of her, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham all smiling and posing for the camera.

‘Back in the day trinity studios near maiden head,’ she wrote. ‘Singing, “We’re gonna make it happen”. #dreambig.’

Of course, they made it happen – the Spice Girls went on to become one of the biggest selling girl groups of all time.

Their debut single Wannabe, which was released in 1996, hit number one in over 37 countries, and their debut album Spice also sold over 31 million copies worldwide.

They continued to go from strength to strength, with their second album Spiceworld, released the following year, also selling a further 20 million copies.

In 1998, Geri notably quit the group, with the remaining members carrying on as a four piece and releasing one final album together before disbanding at the end of 2000.

The group have since reunited three times, twice as a five piece in 2007 and 2012 respectively, and they recently got back together without Victoria – aka Posh Spice – in 2019 for a highly successful reunion tour.

Dubbed Spiceworld 2019, the tour visited cities across the UK and Ireland throughout May and June, with dates selling out fast.

However, that didn’t stop the first date of the tour in Dublin from being plagued with sound issues – but regardless, the girls soldiered one, and made a few cheeky jokes while at it.

And although Victoria was not a part of the reunion tour, that didn’t stop her from wishing her former bandmates good luck before they took to the stage.

Sharing an picture of the band’s iconic performance from the 1997 BRIT Awards to Instagram, she wrote: ‘Good luck to the girls today as they start their tour! X VB #SpiceGirls #FriendshipNeverEnds.’

Victoria also recently shared her very own Spice Girls throwback back in January to celebrate Emma’s 44th birthday.

Sharing a pic of her and Baby Spice in their heyday, she wrote: ‘Birthday kisses @emmaleebunton. We love you so much! Xxx #SpiceGirls.’

These throwbacks really have us all in our feelings.
