Geordie Shore star Grant Coulson is banished from a Jet 2 flight after drunken tirade at passengers

Ex Geordie Shore star Grant Coulson was ejected off his Jet 2 flight after a heated altercation with fellow passengers on Saturday afternoon.

Grant, who has previously claimed he is ‘too famous to work’ and splurged benefit funds on cosmetic surgery, was travelling to Turkey for a hair transplant and to get his teeth fixed.

But the reality star, 30, became ‘wound up’ when holidaymakers chanted ‘too famous to work’ after ‘googling him,’, resulting in a drunken tirade which later saw him booted off the flight from Newcastle to Antalya.

The Sun reports that Grant was made to wait 48 hours before boarding another flight to undergo his planned procedures courtesy of ‘benefits and furlough cash.’

He told the publication: ‘People were shouting, “Too famous to fly” at me and had their phones out. I’d had a few drinks and was being wound up.

‘The plane doors were shut and we were moving but the crew decided to stop and eject me.

‘I probably shouldn’t have reacted and should have just ignored it. But I don’t see what I’ve done to be ashamed of. As far as I’m concerned the haters can go to hell.’

Back in November, the former call centre worker boasted how he claimed £6,000 in taxpayer cash and £1,500 in Covid grants in order to pay for another round of cosmetic surgery in Turkey.

Grant, who alleged he was forced to quit his job after being recognised by too many of the phone-ins, has previously forked out on a teeth transformation as well as a hair transplant.

He contributed towards the £15,000 trip abroad with funds received from his profile on adult content site, OnlyFans.

Declaring he ‘didn’t care’ what people thought about him for taking money from the government, he told The Sun: ‘I’m only claiming what’s rightfully mine.

‘I’m not breaking any laws and I needed to undergo this surgery to increase my confidence.

‘I am happy again now and hopefully will be back on TV so won’t need to claim benefits and stuff.’

Grant, who previously received a nose job on the NHS, also went on a facial filler spree with funds granted to him by the taxpayer.

After being forced to isolate, he was handed Covid grants – which he has saved up in order to get 22 new teeth fitted as well as a hair transplant.

Each natural tooth was ground down so that the entire structure could be covered with a sparkling white crown.

Grant told the publication last year that he was knocked unconscious and broke his nose during an attack at an ‘out of control’ Easter party in April.

He said of the ‘nice hot day’ with his mates in the garden: ‘Loads of people started to turn up and it just got out of control, there were 30 to 40 people in the garden, and it spilled out into the street and into the house.

‘People were just bringing their mates who were fighting, and then they were bringing their mates. It was like something out of Project X.’

He concluded: ‘I was in the hospital for about six hours. I sat in A&E all night with blood all over my face, and all over my top.’
