Despite his booming real estate empire, Ed Sheeran is still one charitable bloke as he donated 300 items to a shop in his home town.

We’d previously gone on about how he was all about giving in his local Framlingham in Suffolk, but now the true extent of his generosity has been revealed.

Basically, he’s the Santa Claus of his hood.

Since creating his mini-village, ‘Sheeranville’, in the town (and sure, upsetting a few neighbours as he went along) the 28-year-old has handed over around 300 items to the St Elizabeth Hospice charity shop.

From signed guitars and surfboards the store’s windows are adorned with the former belongings of the Shape Of You hitmaker.

If you weren’t too keen on those, there’s also a stuffed cat toy, Ed’s baseball cap, a basketball, a personalised ice hockey shirt, loads of signed tour hoodies, a denim jacket, an acoustic guitar songbook (should you be keen to pluck some strings), a signed David Beckham football shirt, and even personalised tomato ketchup which ties in well to this collaboration with Heinz.

Coming with a certificate of authentication signed by the man, as well.

With a life-size cardboard cut-out of the lad taking pride of place in the store, fans have been more than keen to snap a selfie with paper Ed.

It was recently claimed Ed had donated a bunch of concert tickets to local school kids, as he prepared to kick off his massive UK tour which starts in Leeds tomorrow night.

Ed gave the local school’s 1,100 pupils free tickets for one of his gigs in Ipswich next week however, it comes amid a bitter war with his neighbours after planning permission was being denied by both sides of the party in his neighbourhood.

We know he guested on Home And Away, but does he not know the Aussie soap Neighbours’ tagline – that’s when good neighbours become good friends?

The scuffle all kicked off in 2017, when Ed first objected to a neighbour’s plans to build two homes in a paddock close to his estate, dubbed ‘Sheeranville’, according to The Sun.

It’s claimed a planning consultant wrote to Suffolk Coastal District Council on Ed’s behalf objecting to the idea, claiming the proposal would ‘arguably extend the village in an unplanned and superficial way into the countryside’.

It was also said Ed’s parents, Imogen and John, also objected to the proposal, which was later withdrawn, and since then Ed has found a few issues in obtaining planning permission from neighbours.

We’re not saying they’re linked, but it’s fishier than that wildlife pond that’s causing so much trouble. And not even donating to a bunch of charities is appearing to appease the locals who live closest.

Ed, whose net worth is estimated to be a huge £160 million as of 2019, had already installed a pub and the aforementioned ‘wildlife pond’, which neighbours claim is actually a swimming pool in disguise – something he recently fenced off with a bunch of hay bales.

How about his neighbours just go pick up a signed basketball and get on with their day.
