But Downing Street was forced to defend Britain’s Brexit deal after the US President claimed the US “can’t make a trade deal with the UK” under the EU withdrawal agreement.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Nigel Farage as he prepares to reveal how many candidates the Brexit Party will field at the December 12 election.
Mr Farage gave Mr Johnson 24 hours to make an electoral pact with him to prevent a split in the pro-Brexit vote.
