JOHN McDonnell has admitted he is “worried” that Labour’s anti-Semitism scandal could cost the party the election.

The Shadow Chancellor told the BBC’s Andrew Marr that Labour had “done everything they could” to clean up jew hate from the membership.

But added: “I worry that this has had its effect, we’ve done everything we possibly could do.

“I apologise to the Jewish community for the suffering we’ve inflicted on them.”
