Gemma Collins stripped naked for a Peta campaign protesting against marine parks.
The reality star is pictured lying in a bathtub in an attempt to show what it feels like for marine animals to be stuck in confined spaces.
‘Could you spend your life in a bathtub?’ the poster read. ‘Orcas and other dolphins at marine parks suffer for decades in cramped tanks comparable to bathtubs.
‘Don’t go to marine parks.’
The 39-year-old also featured in a Peta video, discussing her thoughts on how animals are treated and explaining why some animals attack their trainers.
She said: ‘When people say, “Oh, my God, why has this whale killed one of our trainers?”
‘It’s because It’s an animal that was taken from its mother in the wild, all to live their life in a bathtub.’
Gemma continued: ‘This isn’t acceptable. People are making money off of parading these animals.’
Many are against marine parks like SeaWorld as the orcas, dolphins etc. are kept in captivity.
According to Peta: ‘They can only swim in endless circles inside tanks that, to them, are the equivalent of bathtubs and they’re denied the opportunity to engage in almost any natural behaviour.’
‘They are forced to perform meaningless tricks and are often torn away from family members when they’re shuffled between parks. Many die far short of their species’ natural life expectancy.’
At the beginning of 2020, Gemma revealed she has given up meat as part of her health drive and weight loss regime.
The reality legend made the admission on Instagram, where she showed a video of her vegan brother Russell cooking vegetable dishes.
‘We’re on a massive health kick in this house,’ she told fans. ‘If any of you are out there thinking, “I want to change for the better. I want to cut down on meat,” I’m going to show you how to cook this recipe.’
She forgot to share the dish, but it did involve sprouts and tofu.
