If James Argent is looking for some weight-loss inspiration, he should look no further than on-off girlfriend Gemma Collins.
Last week the TOWIE legend spoke of his fears he could die after tipping the scales at more than 24 stone.
James says he needs to do something about his bulk and quickly – so maybe he should sit down with the GC and get some tips.
She partied in Cannes and there was no missing her as the 38-year-old threw on a neon dress as she enjoys a break in the South Of France.
She told her followers recently that she has never been in better shape.
Her weight loss may have been helped after coming down with stomach flu gastroenteritis – but most of it has been down to her hard work.
“Guys, I have never felt so slim in all my life,” she beamed. “I have lost a stone and my clothes are hanging off of me.
“It’s absolute madness. I have been sick for a week and I’ve got to say on this occasion it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me because I am off to St Tropez.”
For Arg, it’s a very different story.
The 31-year-old is currently on a weight loss mission as part of Channel 4 documentary Sink or Swim.
He knows the time for talking has got to stop as he battled the flab.
He told The Sun: “I’ve had check-ups. My heart’s OK, I have no signs of diabetes and my cholesterol is not too high.
“But I was weighed and I was the biggest I’d ever been — around 24 stone. I could become ill or die. The swim is an opportunity to sort my life out.
“I need to lose about eight stone or more. I’ve got a long way to go even after I swim the Channel. But it is just a perfect way to kick-start my healthy weight loss.”
Arg says he will not to be affected by cruel body-shamers online and is more determined than ever to slim down.
“I get a bit of stick on social media for my size. You try to be thick-skinned but it does affect you,” the yo-yo dieter admitted.
