GEMMA Collins is so determined to keep the weight off after splitting from James Argent, she’s ditched her vegan diet for steaks and sweaty workouts.
The Sun Online can reveal she’s working out in the gym and burning 1,500 calories a day as she gets back in shape for an appearance on Dancing On Ice’s Christmas special.
“Gemma’s overhauled her diet in recent weeks,” a source says.
“She’s back in the gym burning 1,500 a session with tough workouts, and she’s ditched her vegan diet for steaks.
“She said going vegan was good for her, but it’s not for everyone and her body ‘needs meat’.
“Gemma is in a really good place now. She is still talking to Arg to support him but doesn’t want to get back together as she knows it’s toxic.
“She just wants to focus on her podcast and being a businesswoman – that’s her passion now.”
Gemma is preparing for Dancing On Ice’s Christmas special, which will see her back on the ice for the first time in almost a year.
Last month she confirmed: “I’m actually going back to do the one-off Christmas special.
“You will see me back on the ice. They want me involved and it is an amazing experience.
“I went for a meeting with the team the other day and I was like, ‘Is there any way you can get me back full-time?'”
Gemma recently stunned fans with a selfie of her slimmed-down face, showing off her cheekbones – despite claiming she’d actually put on weight after her recent Arg drama.
The former Towie star was forced to call the police on ex boyfriend Arg after fears he’d overdosed.
Gemma told The Sun’s Bizarre column she “couldn’t stop eating” after the police broke down Arg’s door to check on him.
