Gemma Collins and James Argent are all smiles as they confirm end of romance

Gemma Collins and James Argent both looked in high spirits on Friday as it emerged the pair had split.

Arg was pictured getting off the train in Manchester for a weekend away while The GC showed Arg what he was missing as she stepped out in a black high-low dress, showing off her continued weight loss after appearing on Dancing On Ice earlier in 2019.

The pair, who recently discussed their wedding plans, have also unfollowed each other on social media after the alleged bust-up which saw them end their romance again.

‘They had a big bust-up and Gemma said James was an embarrassment to be around after he began putting on a lot of weight again,’ an insider claimed.

‘At the moment Gemma is determined to get on with her life and wants to be alone without any visits from James. She’s pretty cut up about it but friends are saying that they wouldn’t be surprised if they got back together, considering their history.’

The pair are notorious for their on and off romance and they had only recently got their relationship back on track after briefly splitting in February, when the reality star made ‘fat-shaming’ comments about the Dancing On Ice favourite.

‘You are a fat joke of a woman. An absolute car crash,’ he allegedly told her.

‘You’re nearly 40 fucking years old, you embarrassment… who the fuck do you think you are? You’ve got more rolls than Greggs.’

Gemma later took Arg back after he made a grovelling apology live on Good Morning Britain.

‘I’m a hypocrite, I struggle with my weight. I’m the biggest I’ve ever been,’ he admitted to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
