Gemma Atkinson ‘s partner Gorka Marquez has left his girlfriend and daughter behind to return to touring hours after bringing their baby home from hospital.
The dancer , 28, headed back out on the road to continue his Here Come The Boys shows shortly after welcoming his first child with Gemma, 34, last week.
Their little girl, who’s not been named yet, arrived on Thursday but spent four days in hospital before finally being allowed home yesterday.
However, Gorka only got a few hours at home with her and Gemma before having to head back out in tour.
He returned to the stage in Norwich on Sunday, joining his Strictly co-star Giovanni Pernice.
Their other co-star Aljaž Škorjanec has been forced to take a break after injuring his foot.
Gorka’s return comes just days after he pulled out of Thursday performance so he could rush to Gemma’s side when she went into labour.
The couple announced the birth over the weekend.
Gorka shared a picture of the couple together and wrote: “The last pic before we became 3.
“Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gem couldn’t be happier
“She’s incredible and she certainly made an entrance, giving us all quite a fright at times.
