Gemma Atkinson, 34, is preparing for the birth of her first child with Strictly Come Dancing professional, Gorka Marquez, 28.
Ahead of becoming a first-time parent, Gemma, who has two adorable dogs, Norman and Ollie, visited an animal sanctuary with her beau.
Gorka shared an image of the sign and wrote on it: “Open Day @bleakholt_animal_sanctuary.”
The two then documented their journey on their way home from the sanctuary.
The professional dancer filmed himself in the car with Gemma travelling back from their day out.
He said: “Today, Gemma took me for the first time to visit the animal sanctuary Bleakholt and we got this little…”
“Ready for the baby,” Gemma interrupted.
Gorka went on: “But it was very upsetting to be honest, puppies and dogs.”
Gemma added: “But it’s great people are rehoming them and we’ve got to support them.”
The former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star explained Gorka was eager to adopt one of the dogs.
She said to the camera: “He wanted to bring one home, but I had to put my foot down!”
Yesterday, the pair enjoyed some quality time together as they went on a walk with Gemma’s two pooches.
“He’s got a day off from dancing to do the dog walking,” she said, as she filmed her beau with the dogs.
Gemma continued: “In the freezing cold… I think it’s nice and fresh actually.”
Noting Gorka’s native country, the actress added: “Because you’re Spanish, you’re freezing your t**s off.”
In another upload, Gemma reposted Gorka’s video which saw her struggle up a steep hill.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional looked smug as he smiled to the camera whilst showing his girlfriend way behind.
Teasing Gemma, he said: “You alright there?”
Gemma, who was dressed in an all-black ensemble for their walk, could be seen with her hands on her hips in the clip.
Reminiscing on her pre-pregnancy days, she said: “I used to run up this…”
