Nessa said: “Oh, what’s occurin’. Not a lot, other than a global pandemic – but the question was rhetorical.

“Now listen, I’m not hear to give you advice, there’s plenty of others who will do that for you. It’s your life, and I’m not about to tell you how to live it.

“I wouldn’t do that to no one, I wouldn’t even tell myself how to live my life.

“But I will say this, if you see me in the morning doing my daily run, my half marathon around Barry, don’t even think about breaking that two metre rule.

”Because if you does, I will not hesitate to tell you quite clearly, to back off.

“At the end of the day when all is said and done, no word of a lie, if truth be told just because you don’t feel ill doesn’t mean you’re not infectious!”

She added: “You could be riddled. Stay safe, stay out of my way. Oh and protect the NHS, obviously, it goes without saying.’

Ruth’s co-star and co-writer of the hit BBC series James Corden shared the video with his fans.

He joked: “An important public message.”

It was a light-hearted relief amid the pandemic that has claimed more than 20,000 lives in the UK so far.

Today it was revealed the government has ordered 50million new coronavirus immunity tests that are hoped to be a “game-changing” development in the fight against the pandemic.

It is hoped the breakthrough by a team of British scientists will allow people to work out if they are safe from the virus when the pinprick tests are rolled out in June.

Brits will reportedly be able to take the test and work out if they are allowed to return to socialising and working as they did before the coronavirus lockdown.
