And Marca claims Bale told his representative Jonathan Barnett to find him a new club when the window opens.

Their report adds that Shanghai Shenhua are in talks with Barnett, while Real are happy to let Bale leave on a free.

Manchester United have been keeping tabs on events but are believed to want to offer the injury-prone ace a pay-as-you-play deal.

The speedster was set to quit the Bernabeu over the summer but Los Blancos chiefs torpedoed the deal as they decided they wanted a transfer fee.

And after a good start to the season, Bale again fell out with Zinedine Zidane over the decision to axe him from the squad to take on Club Brugge.

The Dragons star picked up an injury in the crunch qualifier against Croatia after scoring an vital equaliser for Wales Euro 2020 qualification hopes.

He missed games against Mallorca and Galatasaray and is not expected to line up against Leganes despite returning to training.

Bale has asked Real Madrid not to publish his medical records after coming under intense scrutiny during his time in Spain, where he has been made a scapegoat for Real’s struggles.

Barnett told ESPN FC: “Medical records are private. If every citizen’s medical reports are private, why should Gareth’s be public?”

Real are two points behind La Liga leaders Granada but have a game in hand, with Bale scoring twice and providing two assists in six league clashes this season.
