Gamescom 2019: Schedule, Dates, Times, Tickets, Games and everything else you need to know


Gamescom 2019 is set to include information on the biggest games of the year and beyond, which includes Grand Theft Auto 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, FIFA 20 and Gears of War 5. Here’s everything you need to know about Gamescom 2019, as well as our Gamescom 2019 survival guide for those that are attending (this article will be updated weekly with more information as it becomes available).

Dates & Times

The public dates for Gamescom 2019 are the 21st-24th August 2019.

Trade visitors for the business and entertainment area have access to Gamescom 2019 from the 20th August 2019 (Halls 1-10).

Their admittance is as follows:

Tuesday 20th August (9am-7pm BST)
Wednesday 21st August (9am-8pm BST)
Thursday 22nd August (9am-8pm BST)

Private visitors for the entertainment area have access to Gamescom 2019 from the 21st August 2019 (Halls 5-10)

Their admittance is as follows:

Wednesday 21st August (10am-8pm BST)
Thursday 22nd August (10am-8pm BST)
Friday 23rd August (9am-8pm BST)
Saturday 24th August (9am-8pm BST)

Tickets

Tickets are available for Gamescom 2019 on the official website.

Trade Visitor Tickets are available here

Private Visitor Tickets are available here

Guests will be given different wristbands corresponding to their age. These wristbands are issued to those with valid photo ID.

Under 12 years old = no wristband
12-15 years old = green wristband
16-17 years old = blue wristband
18 years old and up = red wristband

Personalised tickets can not be re-sold.

What We Know So Far

The Nintendo Switch Mini has been revealed as the Nintendo Switch Lite, this will be shown at Gamescom 2019.

Cyberpunk 2077’s E3 2019 gameplay demo is going public AFTER Gamescom 2019.

Gamescom 2019 will open with a live opening night on August 19th at 8pm local time.

Gears 5’s Horde Mode will be revealed at Gamescom 2019 on the 19th August.

Blizzard have said they will not be attending Gamescom this year in order to “focus on development”.

Grand Theft Auto 6 could be revealed to the world at Gamescom 2019.

Konami will be showing off eFootball PES 2020 at the event.

Bigben Interactive will be showing off WRC 8, TT Isle of Man 2, Overpass, Bee Simulator, The Fisherman: Fishing Planet, Paranoia: Happiness is Mandator and Rugby 20.

Off the back of E3 2019, there was over 70 new titles announced.
