The Mother of Dragons was killed by Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) who stabbed her in the chest whilst they were in a loving embrace.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly talking about her character’s death, Emilia said she recalled thinking: “What, what, what, WHAT!?
“Because it comes out of f*****g nowhere. I’m flabbergasted. Absolutely never saw that coming.”
“I cried,” she continued: “And I went for a walk. I walked out of the house and took my keys and phone and walked back with blisters on my feet.”
