Killing Eve 3 is set to deliver more kickass women for season three and one of those is Game Of Thrones star Gemma Whelan.

Um, yes please.

The Yara Greyjoy actress, who starred alongside Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), has signed up to the beloved BBC drama to join Sandra Oh (Eve Polastri) and Jodie Comer (Villanelle), according to Entertainment Weekly.

To add to the drama, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire star Predrag Bjelac (Igor Karkaroff) will be appearing in the show, as well as Inside No. 9’s Steve Pemberton.

Doctor Who’s Raj Bajaj and Ready Player One’s Turlough Convery are also joining the already stellar cast.

While not much has been officially confirmed plot-wise, the secret-keeping for the third season hasn’t exactly gone to plan, with Sandra recently dropping a major spoiler.

After the explosive season two finale saw the cat-and-mouse chase reach its climax as Eve was shot by her arch nemesis/girl crush Villanelle, fans have desperately been waiting to find out the MI6 agent’s fate.

Thankfully, that drawn-out wait is over as Sandra has set the record straight, confirming that Killing Eve’s Eve has not been killed as she told Porter magazine: ‘So, obviously I didn’t die.’

Well, that’s that then.

According to the 48-year-old actress, the next series will pick up from where that dramatic moment left off, as she mysteriously continued: ‘[The next season] is basically about where you come back after that, emotionally.’

Meanwhile, Jodie Comer was spotted sporting some painful bruises while filming for the next series, also rocking a high-vis jacket.

Because why not?

Meanwhile, some London locals got very over-excited at the show filming in the New Maldon area of south-west London, sharing the news all over social media.

Just what the cast and crew need, eh?

No doubt the showrunners are one step ahead of us and have got plenty of secrets reserved for the series. We can’t wait!

Killing Eve returns in 2020.
