Sophie Turner has seemingly slammed Evangeline Lilly, after
the Avengers’ star refused to self-isolate amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress has copped a lot of backlash due to her thoughts
on the situation, and now during an Instagram Live alongside Joe Jonas, Game Of
Thrones actress Sophie has shared her two cents.

Saying last week she was trucking along ‘business as usual’ Evangeline said on social media: ‘I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over their freedom, some people value freedom over their lives.’

Dubbing those who aren’t taking social-distancing seriously ‘f**king stupid’, while she didn’t mention Evangeline by name, Sophie quoted what the Ant-Man star had previously said last week about coronavirus.

Speaking to her fans as she exclaimed ‘here’s the tea’, she
urged those watching to ‘stay inside’ and not to be ‘f***ing stupid’.

She continued on Saturday: ‘Even if you count your “freedom” over […] your health.’

Sophie added: ‘I don’t give a f**k about your freedom….
You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by
doing this. So stay inside guys!’

The star concluded her message: ‘So stay inside guys. It’s not cool and it’s not big and it’s not clever. And that’s the tea.’

Last week Evangeline told fans she isn’t self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic, as she ‘values her freedom more than her life’.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp star, 40, shared a photo of her
morning cup of tea, telling her followers: ‘Just dropped my kids off at
gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing
and laughing. #businessasusual’.

When her fans questioned why her children were still going
to gymnastics camp and why she was still going about her business as normal,
the actor revealed she didn’t believe the warnings about coronavirus.

Despite the public being advised to avoid unnecessary journeys and gatherings, Evangeline told her followers she wasn’t worried about contracting the potentially fatal illness which has so far killed thousands around the world.

She replied to one: ‘Hello Erin, I am living with my father at the moment, who has stage four leukaemia.

‘I am also immune compromised at the moment. I have two
young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value
freedom over their lives.

‘We all make our choices. With love and respect. EL’.

Please don’t take Evangeline’s guidance, peeps – let’s social distance as much as possible, eh?

What does self-isolation mean?

Self-isolation means staying indoors and avoiding all contact with other people for 14 days, according to the NHS.

It means no going to work, school, the shops or even to the park for some fresh air, in order to minimise the risk of passing on Covid-19.

Public transport and taxis are a no-no and you shouldn’t have visitors over, even if you just stay at home.

Anyone in self-isolation is advised to ask friends, family and delivery drivers to pick things up for you and drop them-off. You should put a sign outside telling people you are self-isolating and everything should be left on the floor outside your front door to avoid the risk of further infections.

Those who are self-isolating are still advised to stay away from their pets as much as possible and to wash their hands before and after touching them.

If you live in a house share and have to self-isolate, the advice is to stay in your room with the door closed and only emerge to use communal kitchens, bathrooms and living areas if absolutely necessary.

Who should self-isolate?

The government advises anyone returning from Category 1 areas (Hubei, Iran, Italy and Daegu or Cheongdo in South Korea), to go straight home and self-isolate, even if they don’t display any symptoms.

Travellers should use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next.

Anyone returning from Category 2 areas should self-isolate and call 111 if they have Covid-19 symptoms. You can find the list of those places here.
