After eight epic seasons, Game of Thrones is finally coming to an end on Sunday night with the highly-anticipated series finale that spans 80 minutes.
HBO has been less forthcoming than usual with the trailer and the photos for this epic finale, releasing just two photos instead of the usual 10 images with the trailer revealing very little as well.
After Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), unleashed her fire and fury on King’s Landing in The Bells last week, fans are wondering who will finally sit on the Iron Throne when all the dust has settled and all the smoke has cleared.
While fans expected a new ruler to take the Iron Throne in the series finale, the one who ultimately did take over as the new ruler of Westeros was not expected, with Bran Stark taking the crown.
Dany’s rule was over before it really began, after being struck down by Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in a shocking turn of events.

The recap of last week’s episode begins with a reminder that Tyrion wanted Daenerys to give the people of King’s Landing a chance to escape, which she didn’t give them, leading into the iconic title sequence.
The episode begins with Tyrion Lannister walking around what’s left of King’s Landing, as small fires still burn around him.
He walks past a dead young girl, while a half naked man with charred flesh walks past him, saying nothing, as we see Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) walking behind Tyrion.
