Who will be the one to kill Cersei off?

We’ve all been aware of the fact sneaky Cersei Lannister chose to let Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow do all the hard work and weaken their armies in the fight against the Night King.

And her plan has worked perfectly!

There was a whole lot of death in The Long Night and it seems like there could be even more in store in Season Eight, Episode 4.

It’s being directed by the wonderful David Nutter – the man who brought us episode like Mother’s Mercy (when Jon Snow died), The Dance of Dragons (when Shireen died) and The Rains of Castamere (ALSO KNOWN AS THE RED WEDDING).

He is basically the king of killing off unexpected characters, so the fact he is in charge of the action tonight is not a promising sign for those hoping to get a reprieve from death for a while.

And for those who thought that there wasn’t enough death last week, you might get your gory wish and see some shocking moment go down as the battle for the Iron Throne gets back into full swing.

Plus, the fourth episode will be the last directed by David Nutter so he’s surely going to make it count.

Teaser images for the episode have shown that some time will be taken to mourn the lives that we lost in the battle, but the teaser trailer made it clear that Dany is already moving on to her main goal – kicking Cersei’s pregnant butt out of power.

But will she be able to get Sansa Stark and the rest of the North on her side to fight this battle?

It seems unlikely considering just how sassy Sansa has been towards the wannabe queen so far.

But then again, strangers thing have happened!

Read on for every plot twist, fan theory and shock death explained as we watch the living continue on their endless quest for power.

Time to turn our eyes back to the Iron Throne, folks.
