WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Game of Thrones season 8.

Game of Thrones season eight, episode four will pick up in the aftermath of the epic Battle of Winterfell from The Long Night.

Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) stunned HBO and Sky Atlantic viewers when she killed the Night King (Vladimir Furdik) at the end of the episode.

This led to the army of the dead, made up of wights and White Walkers, being destroyed.

Several Game of Thrones characters had died at the hands of the wights, but a number managed to remain in Winterfell alive.

The likes of surviving characters Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) feature heavily in the first look images from the next episode.

For those wanting to avoid Game of Thrones spoilers, the pictures are safe as they don’t give too much away.
