Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3: ‘This is bad’ TRUTH behind Arya trailer scene REVEALED

WARNING: CONTAINS GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8, EPISODE 3 SPOILERS

Game of Thrones season eight trailer began with Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) running away from a seemingly non-existent threat and fans were quick to start speculating on what she was running from.

Now, fans saw the finally scene from the trailer for the HBO show in full in episode three and revealed that a theory behind the trailer was true.

It was revealed she was running away from the Stark family crypt after the dead were brought back to life by the Night King.

It confirmed the theory posed before the season began and fans were so happy.

One fan tweeted: “The crypt. Called it. This is bad.”

Another added: “The theories were right. The crypt is not safe. I was kind of hoping Stark wights would only fight for Starks.”

Other fans ridiculed some of the characters for hiding in a place where the dead lie.

One fan said: “So you didn’t burn the bodies before putting everyone in the crypt in preparation for fighting an army led by a King who can raise the dead?”

Another added: “How did nobody think that the crypt was a horrible idea?”

Fans feared for the future of Winterfell at this point as there was a threat from within its walls.

However, these fears disappeared when Arya killed the Night King in a shock attack that originally had fans fearing for Arya’s safety.

She used her new weapon specifically made for her by Gendry (Joe Dempsie) to kill the Night King and save her brother Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright).

It also meant that all the White Walkers created by the Night King instantly disappeared along with his death.

Arya has had an action-packed two episodes in which has stolen the show.

Last week she was at the centre of fan confusion when she had sex with Gendry and left fans unsure if she was old enough.

Could the final scene-stealing moment be claiming the Iron Throne?

Meanwhile, fans were left disappointed as they found the battle scenes too dark to work out what was actually going on.

Many fans worried they had missed their favourite characters’ deaths or missed any of the action of the battle they had waited years for.

Fans will have to wait until next week to find out if Arya’s intervention seals Winterfell’s survival.

Game of Thrones season eight continues next Sunday on HBO and Sky Atlantic on Monday at 2am.
