Game Of Throne fans are in meltdown after a throwback picture and video of Arya and Bran Stark has circulated following last night’s season eight episode three twist.

A seriously adorable clip of stars Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead Wright making faces at the camera from behind-the-scenes of the first series back in 2011 is doing the rounds and THEY WERE SO SMALL.

The on-screen siblings were just 10 and 12 years-old when they joined the HBO franchise and looked like butter wouldn’t melt.

Fast-forward eight years and Arya is slaying the Night King in the Battle of Winterfell, saving her brother from the clutches of the evil tyrant.

Cooing at the snap is pretty much near impossible and fans couldn’t believe how much they’d grown up, writing: ‘Cuties! This baby just killed a big baddie today!’ and ‘Look how young they started out!’

The living survived the army of the dead in the latest episode of Game Of Thrones, with Arya killing the leader of the White Walkers.

Maisie was bowled over to find out that it was her character who’d lead the clan to victory though, telling Entertainment Weekly: ‘I immediately thought that everybody would hate it; that Arya doesn’t deserve it.

‘The hardest thing is in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them.

‘It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, “Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.”

Game Of Thrones continues Sundays on HBO and Sky Atlantic. Seasons one to seven are available on NOW TV.
