Galaxy chocolate launches enchanted adult egg hunt for one day only

What will you find in the secret garden? (Picture: Galaxy)

Proving that Easter isn’t just for children, Galaxy is planning an egg hunt extravaganza – for adults only.

Guests will be taken on a magical journey through a rose gold garden, a multi-sensory studio at Grays & Feather in Covent Garden that will tease their senses, as well as see them end up with treats galore.

As they enter the sensual garden, each person will be handed a rose gold elixir – which will transport them ‘into a world of enchanted discovery and chocolatey pleasure’.

They will then search among ‘beautiful blooms and fanciful foliage’ to find clues of where the eggs are hiding, before coming upon their grand prize: a rose gold egg, filled with crunchy caramel.

The space, which is open for one day only, has been designed by Bompas & Parr, the brand that last year created an all-blue café where people could eat and drink blue foods (as Mark Darcy said in Bridget Jones, there really isn’t enough blue food).

Fancy going hunting for golden eggs?

The event will take place on Saturday 7 March and tickets cost £10, which includes a drink on arrival, the egg hunt and a gift (we’re guessing the actual egg).

Tickets are limited, so get in there now if you want to be in with a chance to go egg hunting.

Worst comes to worst, pick up some eggs, chuck them in the backyard and create your own experience.

It might not be as enchanting, but you’ll still get chocolate, right?

In other food news, Shrove Tuesday is coming up soon (25 February), which means it’s the perfect opportunity to stuff your face full of fluffy pancakes and super thin crêpes.

From Oreo-inspired pancakes to matcha flavours, Scottish pancake hamburgers (yes, really) or classic syrup-drizzled goodness, we’ve found the best places in London to eat pancakes.

Get your fork ready.
