G2 Esports Partners with Blockchain Firm Hdac Technology

Blockchain company Hdac Technology is G2 Esports’ latest sponsor, the companies announced today, with plans to collaborate on content and tech upgrades to G2 facilities.

Hdac’s blockchain platform handles communication and transactions between “internet of things” (IoT) smart devices, providing anonymity while still maintaining a record of interactions. This is Hdac’s first esports sponsorship deal, and according to a release, the company hopes to “showcase the accessibility and ease of use” of its blockchain platform.

The company’s branding will be added to the jerseys of G2’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) teams, and the companies will create content together. Additionally, Hdac will utilize its platform to install smart device integrations into G2’s headquarters and gaming house.
