Based on the Oscar-winning 2013 animation, Disney’s Frozen: The West End Musical will celebrate the extraordinary story that melted hearts across the world earning over $1.3 billion at the global box office in the process.

Co-directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck and featuring songs written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the film has already generated two spin-off short films and a hit sequel released in December 2020, but now its time to go back to where it all began.

The Frozen musical tells largely the same story as the movie, but with a few key differences. There are new songs, it’s a bit darker and more grown up than the film version, and Kristoff’s beloved trolls have been cut completely from the story.

Otherwise it’s about Elsa and Anna, the princesses of the fictional Scandinavian kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa, the older sister, has magical ice powers that she must keep hidden from her sister and her people, however her powers are let loose at her coronation forcing her into hiding.
